In partnership with AWS, new platform unifies AI security and API security into one closed loop, with capabilities expanding through 2026

Wallarm  announced the general availability of the AI Control Platform, a unified architecture for the discovery, control, and inline enforcement of enterprise AI workloads. The platform is available on AWS Marketplace and is the foundation Wallarm will build on across this year and next.

Enterprise AI is being deployed faster than organizations can inventory what’s running, observe what it’s actually doing, or intervene when policy is violated. Nearly 80% of organizations have experienced data incidents involving generative AI. 72% of corporate AI tools in active use are rated high or critical risk. 45% of organizations now rank generative AI as a top IT budget priority, according to AWS’s 2025 Generative AI Adoption Index. Most enterprises still cannot stop AI incidents as they happen.

“AI adoption is outpacing governance, and customers are being forced to trade speed for control. The AI Control Platform removes that tradeoff for every CIO scaling AI and every CISO governing it. This is the foundation Wallarm is building on, and the capabilities we deliver across this year and next will compress the time between AI deployment and AI governance to near zero.” — Shayne Higdon, CEO, Wallarm

From Visibility Gaps to Continuous AI Governance

With the introduction of the AI Control Platform, Wallarm has introduced the first closed-loop platform that unifies AI security and API security under continuous, enforceable runtime control:

  • Discover AI infrastructure and workloads across AWS environments in real time
  • Observe AI behavior at runtime by tracing every session end-to-end, not after the fact
  • Enforce policies immediately when risk is detected
  • Govern AI transformation across the enterprise

Wallarm’s approach shifts AI security from periodic review and reactive alerting with point products to continuous runtime visibility and inline enforcement. Security and IT teams can answer questions that were previously unanswerable:

  • What assets make up my AI technology stack?
  • What data is this AI system actually accessing right now?
  • Which external services is it interacting with?
  • Is sensitive data leaving the organization and can we stop it?

Built on AWS

AWS provides the infrastructure, scale, and powerful native security services that enterprises depend on. Wallarm extends that foundation into AI behavior: what decisions agents are making, what data they are accessing, and what is leaving the environment. Together, AWS and Wallarm can provide a complete AI control loop from discovery to runtime governance to inline enforcement, without requiring code changes.

Wallarm’s AI Control Platform

The AI Control Platform is the only platform that integrates AI security and API security into one closed loop, and delivers continuous governance, auditable control, and active enforcement the moment a policy is violated. It surfaces exactly what AI infrastructure is running in your environment, deploying new capabilities without security becoming a bottleneck. Now organizations can scale with confidence that their AI investments are behaving as intended. The AI Control Platform is designed as the foundation for an expanding portfolio of AI security capabilities, with new products and capabilities rolling out through 2026.

“As CarCollect scales, Wallarm helps us secure our growing ecosystem of AI, MCP Servers, and APIs from endpoint risks and potential sensitive data exposure. Wallarm gives us the full visibility and control we need to confidently strengthen our overall security posture.” — Wout Groenendijk, Chief Technology Officer, CarCollect

With the EU AI Act enforcement beginning in August 2026, organizations in regulated industries face a near-term compliance deadline with material legal consequences for those unable to demonstrate AI governance. Wallarm provides the continuous, auditable visibility and enforcement required to meet those obligations.
