Trava Security, a trusted provider of managed compliance and cybersecurity solutions for growing businesses, announced a significant expansion of its service offerings alongside the appointment of Adam Kerns as Vice President of Delivery. “Our customers came to us for compliance, and they stayed because they trust us,” says Trava Security CEO, Dan Katt.

For years, Trava has helped mid-market companies navigate complex compliance frameworks including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA. With this expansion, the company is answering growing customer demand for deeper, more holistic security coverage. Rather than relying on a patchwork of vendors, Trava customers can now partner with a single trusted provider for their entire security program, from initial certification to fully managed, ongoing protection.

Central to Trava’s expanded model is a human-governed, AI-leveraged approach that makes enterprise-grade security accessible at price points the mid-market can sustain. By combining deep security expertise with purpose-built AI capabilities, Trava delivers the breadth and rigor of a large enterprise security program to organizations that have historically had to choose between comprehensive coverage and affordability.

“Our customers came to us for compliance, and they stayed because they trust us,” says Trava Security CEO, Dan Katt. “But their security needs don’t stop at a certification, and neither do we. Through the combination of AI and security expertise, we’re able to bring enterprise-level security to the mid-market at a price point they can actually digest — and Adam is exactly the right person to lead that transformation.”

Leading Trava’s expanded delivery is Adam Kerns, who joins as Vice President of Delivery. Kerns brings deep experience building and scaling enterprise cybersecurity programs. Most recently, he served as Managing Principal of Cyber Security Services at Coalfire, where he oversaw delivery of complex, multi-faceted security engagements for organizations across highly regulated industries. At Trava, he will lead the build-out and delivery of the company’s expanded managed programs and engineering services.

“What drew me to Trava is the rare opportunity to take the kind of rigorous, comprehensive security programs I’ve built at the enterprise level and bring them to organizations that need them most,” says Kerns. “The team here has done something exceptional in the compliance space, and I’m excited to help write the next chapter.”
