Parabellyx Announces General Availability of the LUMA Platform, Launching LUMA Internal and LUMA PTaaS

Unified offensive security platform brings continuous penetration testing, plus on-demand expert-led testing, to SMB and mid-market organizations

Parabellyx, a North American offensive security company, today announced the general availability of its LUMA platform. The release brings Parabellyx’s existing testing modules together into one platform. It also launches two new offerings. LUMA Internal delivers continuous penetration testing inside the network. LUMA PTaaS (penetration testing as a service) lets organizations pick the type of security test they need and schedule it when they want it.

LUMA combines AI-driven automation with human validation. Machines test at scale around the clock. Parabellyx’s accredited ethical hackers then check results, remove false positives, and give prioritized remediation guidance. Customers can start with one module and add more as they grow. All findings, reports, and retests are managed in a single portal.

With this release, the LUMA platform includes:

  • LUMA Perimeter: Continuous external penetration testing and attack surface management. It finds and tests internet-facing exposure before attackers do.
  • LUMA Internal (new): Agentless, continuous internal penetration testing from workstations and servers all the way to Active Directory. It tests lateral movement, network segmentation and weak or reused credentials.
  • LUMA PTaaS (new): Expert-led, on-demand penetration testing that customers order, track, and receive inside LUMA.

LUMA Internal uses a physical or virtual sensor that can be deployed and testing within hours. It continuously maps live hosts, subnets, and services, and shows how far an attacker could get from a single compromised machine. It costs about the same as one annual internal pen test, billed monthly.

LUMA PTaaS replaces the traditional cycle of a new quote, statement of work and purchase order for every test. Customers buy credits once and use them whenever they need a test, across nine assessment types: external and internal network, web application, mobile application, cloud configuration, wireless, social engineering, red team, and AI testing. Every engagement includes business logic testing, chained exploit paths, a comprehensive report within five business days, and a retest.

“The mid-market faces the same attackers as the Fortune 500, with a fraction of the budget and a shortage of expertise,” said Alexander Poizner, CEO and Co-Founder of Parabellyx. “An annual pen test leaves you blind for eleven months of the year. LUMA closes that gap. Our platform tests continuously, our ethical hackers validate what’s real, and our customers get enterprise-grade offensive security at a price that makes sense for their business. With Internal and PTaaS now on the platform, an organization can test its perimeter and the inside of its network, and order expert-led testing whenever it needs it, all from one place.”

Parabellyx was founded in 2018 by offensive security experts and is a founder-led startup. It has grown revenue more than 100% year over year, entirely organically and with no institutional funding. Parabellyx serves customers from SMB to enterprise in healthcare, finance, technology, manufacturing and the public sector. It sells directly and through channel partners in North America, the UK, the Caribbean, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
