Fiddler Raises $30M Series C to Power the Control Plane for AI Agents

Investment led by RPS Ventures accelerates Fiddler’s vision to deliver a neutral system of record for compound AI

Fiddler AI, the enterprise AI observability and security platform, announced it has raised $30 million in Series C funding led by RPS Ventures, with participation from existing investors Lightspeed Venture Partners, Lux Capital, Insight Partners, Capgemini Ventures, Dallas VC, Dentsu Ventures, and Mozilla Ventures, alongside new strategic investors LG Technology Ventures, Benhamou Global Ventures, and LDV Partners. The funding accelerates Fiddler’s vision to become the neutral control plane for compound AI systems as enterprises increasingly incorporate autonomous agents into business-critical workflows. The Fiddler Control Plane will deliver standardized telemetry, reliable evaluation, continuous monitoring, enforceable policy, and auditable governance across the AI lifecycle.

“The explosion of AI tools has created a significant gap in enterprise governance,” said Timothy Murphy, Partner at RPS Ventures. “Companies are deploying agents that interact with customers and make consequential decisions, but they’re monitoring them with fragmented point solutions built for simpler, deterministic use cases. A single agentic workflow can involve dozens of handoffs between models, tools, and APIs—each one a potential point of failure. Fiddler is the first company to deliver a true control plane that provides complete visibility into what agents are doing, contextual intelligence about why they’re behaving that way, and real-time controls to enforce policy and prevent catastrophic failures. That category-defining position is why we led this round.”

The governance gap carries real consequences, as agent failures can result in regulatory fines, legal exposure, and brand damage. These high stakes are driving rapid enterprise adoption of Fiddler, particularly in regulated industries where AI oversight is non-negotiable. The company has grown its revenue more than 4x in the last 18 months. Additionally, Fiddler recently achieved AWS Pattern Partners status and was named the #1 company in AI Agent Security & Risk Management by CB Insights.

Unified Platform for AI Agent Visibility, Context, and Control

Unlike point solutions that purely focus on developer-level debugging, don’t view AI systems holistically, or outsource evaluation and custom metrics to external models, Fiddler is “batteries-included.” Proprietary trust models deliver accuracy, safety, and compliance out of the box for enterprises to deploy agentic and predictive AI at scale.

”Every major platform shift requires new infrastructure. When companies moved to the cloud, they needed orchestration layers. As they deploy autonomous agents, they need a control plane,” said Krishna Gade, co-founder and CEO of Fiddler. “Our years building trust infrastructure gave us the foundation to solve this—understanding not just what agents do, but why they do it. That’s the difference between monitoring tools and mission-critical infrastructure.”

“Fiddler has delivered unified observability, protection, and governance across agents and predictive models making it fundamental to our AI strategy, ” said Karthik Rao, CEO of Nielsen. We are especially looking forward to the upcoming rollout of the control plane and the intelligent orchestration it will bring as our AI footprint grows.”

Founded in 2018, Fiddler has built deep expertise in root cause analysis, governance, and enterprise scale. This foundation powers its control plane for compound AI systems, enabling businesses to diagnose, explain, and govern their agentic decisions in real time. This funding will further enable Fiddler to scale across regulated industries like healthcare, financial services, and insurance, and deepen its integrations across the AI ecosystem. The investment brings Fiddler’s total funding to $100M.

“Building trust into AI has been our mission since day one—trust that systems perform as expected, that risks are managed proactively, and that AI investments deliver measurable returns,” continued Gade. “We’re grateful to RPS Ventures and our investors for supporting that mission as agents become central to enterprise operations. The control plane for compound AI systems is how we deliver trust at scale.”
