Factory’s Autonomous Software Agents Now Available to Federal, State and Local Government Agencies Through Carahsoft’s Contract Vehicles and Reseller Network
Factory, the pioneer of agent-native software development, and Carahsoft Technology Corp., The Trusted Government IT Solutions Provider®, today announced a strategic partnership to bring agent-native software development to the Public Sector. Under the agreement, Carahsoft will serve as Factory’s Master Government Aggregator®, making the company’s autonomous software development platform available to Federal, State and Local agencies through Carahsoft’s reseller partners and NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) V, The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS), E&I Cooperative Services Contract and The Quilt contracts.

Factory enables organizations to build and operate their own software factory, turning requirements and operational signals into production software, autonomously executing work across planning, development, testing, review, security and release. Engineers remain in control through policies, guardrails and approval gates.
Factory is built for model independence and the open ecosystem. Teams can choose supported open or closed models, bring their own keys or endpoints, or use Factory Router to match each task with the right model for its performance, cost and reliability requirements. Factory Router decreases cost for customers by more than 50% at the same quality of outcome. Factory deploys from the cloud to fully air-gapped environments, giving enterprises control over their models, infrastructure, data and autonomy.
Through Carahsoft, Factory’s SOC 2 certified platform is now accessible to Government agencies that need to create, maintain and evolve software under strict security and compliance requirements. The partnership places Factory on established procurement pathways for agencies to evaluate and deploy agent-driven development without introducing new purchasing processes. Agencies can deploy Factory in the cloud, on their premise or in fully air-gapped environments for the highest-security labs. The platform supports single-tenant deployments within sandboxed environments, SSO and SCIM provisioning, role-based access controls, zero data retention mode, customer-managed encryption keys and comprehensive audit logging. By embedding autonomous development within the tools and environments agencies already use, teams can accelerate delivery, improve code quality and reduce reliance on manual development processes.

Agencies can deploy the platform within existing environments, with support for standard integration and compliance requirements.
