WINpod leverages Avaya’s XCaaS technology to support on-premises data centers and connects to a back-up, geo-redundant data center in the cloud, providing complete protection for mission-critical applications such as SpectraLink, CRM, and local copper/PRI trunking in the event of a network outage.

“From healthcare to financial services, organizations require survivability for unexpected events,” said Layne Levine, president of Windstream Enterprise. “Peace of mind comes from knowing that the technology behind your network is managed by two of the most innovative and customer-oriented providers in the business. Businesses can amortize the on-premises cabinet, rack, servers, UPS and labor of the contract term, making WINpod a competitive, cost-effective solution.

“Our customers have a variety of different network needs, architectures and legacy systems, so we are always innovating new ways to help them leverage their previous investments, while still taking advantage of modern technology,” said Levine.
