“Organizations in highly regulated industries are struggling with the need to create a comprehensive IT asset inventory that accurately reflects the dynamic attack surface in real-time”

Strand brings more than 25 years of technical, security and compliance experience, including nearly a decade as the Head Compliance Security Strategist at Carbon Black, where he built and led the Global Cyber-Compliance office, a critical pillar to Carbon Black’s business.

“Organizations in highly regulated industries are struggling with the need to create a comprehensive IT asset inventory that accurately reflects the dynamic attack surface in real-time,” said Chris Strand. “Not only does this introduce obvious security concerns, but it’s a compliance nightmare, as this is a baseline requirement for nearly every security and privacy compliance framework. The Sevco 4D Asset Intelligence Platform is a powerful tool that can help compliance teams wrap their hands around this foundational compliance requirement. I look forward to working with Sevco’s leadership team to help customers accelerate their journey toward continuous compliance using the industry’s most accurate CAASM platform.”

In his role, Strand will drive initiatives to enable customers to use the Sevco platform for their compliance programs and cybersecurity mandates, including PCI DSS, NIST CSF, and GDPR. Sevco’s 4D Asset Intelligence Platform delivers powerful capabilities that enable customers to automate and accelerate security mandates and compliance, including:
