iboss Expands Portfolio of Technology Alliance Partners with Ping Identity
Integration Offers Fast and Secure Connectivity to the Cloud with Seamless Single Sign On

iboss, the leading SASE cloud security provider, announced that it has expanded its portfolio of technology alliance partners with the inclusion of Ping Identity. Together, iboss and Ping Identity help enterprises better support today’s modern workforce by optimizing single sign on, which enhances user experience and secure connectivity. The iboss Cloud Platform integrates with Ping Identity’s PingOne Cloud Platform to ensure users can securely connect to any cloud application on any device, while working from anywhere.

iboss and Ping Identity utilize Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) standards to quickly authorize users and authenticate user privileges to access a cloud application. SAML enables IT to securely control what applications users can access based on zero trust policies configured and the user’s role. General internet traffic is also easily controlled via the iboss Cloud Platform. The iboss integration with Ping Identity enables real time provisioning of users and immediate policy application and enforcement.

“Today’s modern workforce isn’t bound by the four walls of an office building. Users are working from anywhere, and security must follow the users and their devices,” said Paul Martini, CEO of iboss. “Users require fast and secure access to the applications they need to do their jobs, which is why verifying who a user is before allowing access is so important. iboss’ integration with Ping Identity enables customers to accelerate IT adoption of a zero trust security architecture to help them better support the modern ‘work from anywhere’ workforce.”

Additionally, automatic provisioning and deprovisioning is achieved via the SCIM integration between iboss and Ping Identity. The SCIM integration ensures that all iboss cloud admin account information remains in-synch between the iboss and Ping solutions, with automatic updates happening in real time. Moreover, the SCIM integration provides an audit trail of deprovisioning when an employee’s employment ceases to ensure no unauthorized access to the iboss’s cloud management console.

“User experience is a priority, but it shouldn’t come at the expense of security,” said Loren Russon, VP of Product Management at Ping Identity. “The integration of Ping Identity and iboss’s enables customers to optimize both, by allowing organizations to connect users quickly and securely to any cloud application, from anywhere.”
