Former Secunia Research director Kasper Lindgaard leads new initiative focused on Microsoft 365 security research, practical guidance and technical analysis
CoreView, the global leader in Microsoft 365 tenant resilience, has launched CoreView Intelligence Labs to help security practitioners to understand what’s happening in their Microsoft tenants and close existing and emerging security gaps.
Intelligence Labs will publish technical research and practical guidance on Microsoft 365 security, led by CoreView VP of Security Strategy Kasper Lindgaard. Kasper brings more than two decades of Microsoft platform security expertise, having previously led Secunia Research and served as a CISO in highly regulated services environments.
The launch of the Labs is designed to course correct a false sense of security in IT environments, where 62% of IT leaders describe their Microsoft 365 security posture as established or advanced. Yet more than half (54%) are missing at least one foundational control, including full MFA coverage for administrators, privileged access management or configuration tamper detection.

“Microsoft 365 is incredibly complex, and even experienced teams can get some of the fundamentals wrong,” said Kasper Lindgaard, VP of Security Strategy at CoreView. “Intelligence Labs is designed to help practitioners understand what’s actually happening inside their tenants. And, provide engineering context on how changes impact their security posture. Our ambition is for it to become the reference point for Microsoft 365 security practitioners.”
Intelligence Labs will span practical guidance for Microsoft 365 security, as well as technical analysis of newly disclosed attacks and what they mean for organisations securing their environments. Content available at launch covers authentication methods in Entra ID and non-human identities, alongside practical guidance on enterprise application authentication and Microsoft’s passkey rollout.
