Company’s AI-first platform strategy, integrated data lake, and recent AI Security and AI Data Pipelines acquisitions cited as key differentiators in delivering an autonomous SOC advantage
SentinelOne® , the AI Security leader, announced it has been named a SOC Platform Leader by Latio in the analyst firm’s inaugural evaluation of Security Operations Center (SOC) platforms spanning EDR, XDR, SIEM, SOAR and MDR capabilities. The report delves into the rise of the AI SOC, the convergence of threat detection and response categories, and the disruption of the traditional SIEM and SOAR strategies for handling the data, speed and workflows of the SOC in the AI era. As security operations converge across detection and response, SentinelOne was recognized as one of very few vendors with the AI-native architecture and full breadth and depth of capabilities to power modern integrated security operations at scale.

The Latio recognition follows a period of significant platform innovation, centered on SentinelOne’s strategy to build a unified, AI-native security platform that delivers the full SOC stack on a single architecture. Central to that strategy is Purple AI®, SentinelOne’s agentic SOC analyst, which operates across a unified data plane built on OCSF-normalized first and third-party data stored in a high-speed, cost-efficient security data lake. This architecture gives security teams a single location to run cross-domain investigations—from endpoint to cloud to identity—on one set of normalized data, in one place.
“The market is moving from detections, alerts, and rules-based response to anticipating, reasoning, and autonomously stopping threats in realtime,” said Chris Corde, Chief Product Officer at SentinelOne. “Being named a SOC Platform Leader by Latio is validation of SentinelOne’s longtime vision for autonomous security operations, and our AI-first approach to giving human defenders a decisive operating advantage.”
Two recent acquisitions highlight SentinelOne’s push to help customers embrace their AI advantage and protect their AI-powered enterprise. The acquisition of Observo AI, now integrated as Singularity AI Data Pipelines, embeds pre-ingestion filtering, normalization, and enrichment directly into Singularity AI SIEM, enabling customers to reduce data noise and cost before data ever enters the lake, a structural efficiency advantage that compounds at enterprise scale. The acquisition of Prompt Security further accelerated SentinelOne’s position as one of the most comprehensive AI security platforms on the market, covering the most critical areas of AI risk: employee usage, agent security, AI coding and more.
The Latio SOC Platform Leader designation adds to a growing body of third-party validation of SentinelOne’s platform strategy. The company has been named a Leader in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Endpoint Protection Platforms for six consecutive years, and was recognized as the 2025 Gartner® Peer Insights Customers’ Choice for Extended Detection and Response (XDR) — one of only two vendors to receive that distinction. SentinelOne was also named a Leader in the 2025 IDC MarketScape for Worldwide XDR Software. Taken together, these recognitions reflect a platform consistently earning trust at the highest levels of the security market — and increasingly, across the full SOC stack.
