A seasoned leader with over 20 years of experience, Mehmet Akcin has shaped the backbone of global connectivity through pivotal roles at hyperscalers such as Microsoft and Yahoo, where he spearheaded strategic network infrastructure initiatives. As Director of Network Planning and Acquisitions at Microsoft, he optimized Azure’s global network and data center strategies, while his tenure as Senior Director of Global Network Infrastructure at Yahoo reinforced his reputation as a visionary in scaling enterprise-level connectivity solutions.
