Semperis, a leader in AI-powered identity security and cyber resilience, today announced the appointment of Fernando Oliveira as Area Vice President of Latin America. In this role, Oliveira will lead Semperis’ efforts to grow revenue, attract new customers, and scale channel partnerships across Latin America, including BrazilMexico and the Spanish-speaking LATAM region.

Oliveira brings over 20 years of experience leading and expanding cybersecurity businesses across Latin America. His expertise spans market entry strategies, developing high-performing teams and building strategic alliances to accelerate business growth. Prior to joining Semperis, he led RSA Security, OpenText, IBM Resilient and HashiCorp in Latin America, where he was instrumental in successfully transforming the region into a multi-million-dollar market and contributing to global IPO strategies.

“Fernando’s experience and history of successfully scaling businesses across Latin America make him the ideal leader to drive Semperis’ growth in the region,” said Mike DeGaetano, Chief Revenue Officer at Semperis. “With identity security now a mission-critical priority for organizations, Fernando will spearhead our efforts to help LATAM enterprises protect their most valuable asset – Active Directory – against evolving cyber threats.”

As part of its rapid growth trajectory, Semperis recently reached a significant milestone, surpassing $100 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), an achievement that fewer than 1 in every 1,000 enterprise software companies attain. This achievement highlights the company’s increasing impact in the cybersecurity space, fueled by Semperis’ comprehensive solutions, which help enterprises combat the increasing threat of hybrid identity-based attacks in Active Directory and Entra ID environments.

“I’m thrilled to join Semperis at such a pivotal time in the company’s growth journey,” said Oliveira. “Surpassing $100 million in ARR is a testament to the company’s leadership in identity security, and I’m excited to build on this momentum. With its innovative approach to identity-driven cyber resilience, Semperis is uniquely positioned to help organizations across Latin America safeguard their most critical assets. I look forward to expanding our presence in the region and delivering industry-leading solutions that empower businesses to stay ahead of evolving cyber threats.”

Semperis continues to earn industry recognition for its innovation and commitment to excellence. The company has been recognized by Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500, Inc.’s Best Workplaces, and, most recently, CRN’s 2025 Security 100 list. Its Purple Knight community tool, a free assessment solution designed to identify vulnerabilities in Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID, and Okta, has been endorsed by leading cyber agencies from the Five Eyes Nation, including the NSA and CISA.
