NetBrain Certified for Infoblox NIOS Integration

NetBrain Certified for Infoblox NIOS Integration

For joint customers, Infoblox serves as the system of record for IPAM, DNS, and DHCP and NetBrain acts as the system of reality that validates live network behavior

NetBrain Technologies, Inc., a pioneer in network automation and AI, announced that it is now a Certified Partner in the Infoblox Ecosystem. Integrating NetBrain and Infoblox enables NetOps teams to expand their operational capabilities beyond legacy configuration management and static snapshots into real-time network intelligence, automation and validation. The certification follows rigorous testing and validation of the NetBrain platform with the Infoblox Network Identity Operating System (NIOS) that powers Infoblox core network services.

Integrating NetBrain and Infoblox enables NetOps teams to expand their operational capabilities beyond legacy configuration management and static snapshots into real-time network intelligence, automation and validation.

“This is a powerful, validated and future-proof integration that promises to deliver the capabilities that network operations teams need to manage modern hybrid networks,” said David Mann, Vice President of Global Services, NetBrain. “Together, NetBrain and Infoblox give teams synchronized operational intelligence across configuration, topology and DDI data.”

For NetOps teams, NetBrain offers several new powerful capabilities to leverage Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) data for network management, including:

  • API-Driven DDI Discovery: NetBrain automatically retrieves subnet, IP range, DNS and DHCP data directly from Infoblox NIOS. This data seeds and accelerates network discovery, ensuring NetBrain’s digital twin is always aligned with the authoritative source of truth.
  • DDI-Enriched Topology & “One-IP” Visibility: NetBrain’s network maps are dynamically enriched with Infoblox data, enabling NetOps teams to see hostnames, IP lease statuses, and other DNS/DHCP attributes directly on the topology, eliminating the need for manual spreadsheet reconciliation.
  • Triggered Automation with DDI Validation: When running automated diagnostic workflows (Runbooks), NetBrain can validate DNS resolution, DHCP availability and IP address allocation in real-time, alongside path and configuration analysis. This provides a complete picture during incident response.
  • Unified Change Correlation: When a network change is made, NetBrain’s change analysis workflows can correlate configuration modifications with corresponding Infoblox records, giving operators a more complete view of the change’s potential impact.
