Liberty Defense Holdings Ltd., – a leading technology provider of AI-based next generation detection solutions for concealed weapons and threats, is pleased to announce that its HEXWAVE system was selected by The Jackson County Detention Center in Missouri to screen staff and visitors who enter the facility. The order was received with our distribution partner, Linev Systems U.S. who received the contract from the County.
The selection of Liberty Defense’s HEXWAVE technology reaffirms Jackson County’s commitment to securing their facilities with a modern-day security approach, ensuring minimized entry wait times and enabling the most secure and safe access for everyone entering the facilities.
The Jackson County Detention Center houses adult inmates awaiting trial or serving sentences for state charges, and as of September 2025, the daily average inmate population was around 935, with the current count reaching 1,063. The rising inmate population is projected to exceed the detention center’s capacity and therefore a new County Jail is being built and is expected to be completed this Fall.
