INTEGRITY Security Services Joins Forces with AV to Develop New Network V2X Platform

Next-generation platform offers ultra-low latency, high scalability, and real-world deployment flexibility for connected vehicles

INTEGRITY Security Services (ISS), the global leader in end-to-end embedded cybersecurity solutions, announced today a technology partnership with AeroVironment, Inc., a leading provider of all-domain defense technologies and Artificial Intelligence-enabled transportation management systems. By integrating the TrafficAuth-SCMSclient libraries, AV’s Low-latency Intelligent Network Exchange (LINX) delivers a next-generation Network Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) platform that offers a new standard of security, control, and reliability in deploying connected vehicle applications—all without the complexity of 5G multi-access edge computing.

ISS partners with AV to advance connected tech and grow a smart, trusted ecosystem of vehicles and devices.

LINX enhances safety, mobility and energy efficiency by allowing vehicles to exchange real-time data with surrounding entities, enabling early warnings about potential collisions, road hazards, and traffic conditions. Among other features, LINX uses the TrafficAuth-SCMSclient libraries to:

• Provide completely secure standards-based cellular/UU V2X interoperability;
• Incorporate digital signatures in messages to ensure the security and authenticity of communications sent through the Network V2X ecosystem;
• Validate messages from the receiving end using security certificates issued by ISS; and
• Ensure compliance with IEEE 1609.2 standards and all U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) requirements for security credential management systems (SCMS).
