Evolv Technologies Holdings, Inc. , a leading security technology company pioneering AI-based solutions designed to help create safer experiences, is pleased to announce the latest software updates to its security solutions. This includes updates to screening solutions Evolv Express® and Evolv eXpedite™ as well as the analytics platforms available through MyEvolv & Evolv Insights®.

Evolv is constantly working to increase system performance and enhance the user experience to meet the dynamic challenges faced by security professionals and venue operators. Evolv customers benefit from regular software updates pushed to over 1,000 customers worldwide, which includes a fleet of more than 7,000 Express systems. This latest release introduces a suite of new features designed to enhance security operations, streamline alert resolution, and provide deeper insights for security operators into potential threats.

Evolv provides a cloud-connected, AI-driven security solution that goes beyond hardware, supporting the end-to-end screening experience with Express and eXpedite. Express is purpose-built to efficiently screen people for concealed threats, while eXpedite is designed to screen bags with speed and accuracy. These systems empower security teams with real-time visuals and tools to resolve alerts confidently. Evolv offers a connected, layered approach that supports security teams throughout the entire screening process.

With over three billion people screened globally, Evolv continues to innovate in security technology by working closely with customers to understand their challenges and to develop solutions. This commitment to continuous improvement is reflected in the release of software versions Evolv Express 9.0, Evolv eXpedite 1.2, and MyEvolv Portal & Evolv Insights 6.0, which introduce new features designed to enhance security operations.

Key Features of Releases:

  • Integrated Evolv Tablet: Now manage alerts from both Evolv Express and Evolv eXpedite on a single tablet, improving efficiency and ease while providing a unified view of potential threats.
  • Express Detection Boost: A new setting available on select sensitivity settings that’s designed to support increased detection of firearms with minimal impact to the nuisance alarm rate.
  • Expanded Alert Tags: Increased number of alert tag options to 39, allowing for more precise categorization of threats and non-threats, enhancing weapons detection reporting.
  • Sensitivity Tuning Steps: Allows venues to select a specific threat performance profile tailored to their operational needs, providing flexibility and additional control with adjustable percentage increments between select sensitivity settings.
  • Real Time Service Monitoring: Helps identify Evolv Express scanner issues as they happen. When a system error is found, the system sends the information to Evolv’s support platform. If needed, a support case is created through that system, no extra steps required from the customer.

“The expanded alert tags are a big win for us,” said Michelle Ryan, Senior Security Director, New York-Presbyterian. “With more options to categorize threats, our reporting is more precise, and it helps us improve our security measures.”

“The new sensitivity tuning steps in Evolv Express® give our team greater flexibility to adjust detection settings to fit our unique security needs,” said Chris Pearson, Director of School Safety, Harnett County Schools. “We appreciate having more control to fine-tune sensitivity, helping us optimize our operations for different environments.”

“At Evolv, innovation means never settling. With every release, we challenge ourselves to do better, for our customers, for safety, and for the future,” said John Kedzierski, CEO & President of Evolv Technology.

Evolv Technology remains committed to advancing security solutions that empower organizations to create safer environments with greater efficiency. Please connect with your Evolv Sales Associate to explore these features further.
