Foley brings more than 15 years of experience in international leadership roles across companies in Artificial Intelligence, B2B SaaS, and technology. Most recently, he served as General Manager EMEA at the agentic security software company Vanta, leading GTM strategy and execution in the region. Prior to that, he spent over a decade at Google, including as Sector Lead for Digital Natives and Corporate at Google Cloud in Germany, where he led GTM for high-growth technology companies and mid-market enterprises. Earlier in his career, Foley was a Sales Director at Meltwater.
The appointment reflects DataGuard’s continued investment in its go-to-market organization as security and compliance become ongoing, board-level priorities. DataGuard’s AI-powered platform, combined with expert oversight, enables customers to manage security and compliance efficiently without compromising trust or accuracy.
“Andrew has deep sector expertise across security, AI, and cloud solutions. He has successfully scaled high-growth technology companies across the globe,” said Thomas Regier, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of DataGuard. “His track record in building direct and indirect go-to-market motions and navigating complex, fast-evolving markets makes him the right leader to drive our next phase of growth as we continue to expand our customer base globally.”
“Companies are under increasing pressure to operationalize security and compliance in a way that scales with their business,” said Andrew Foley. “DataGuard’s security and compliance platform combines AI-enabled workflow automation with deep domain knowledge delivered by experts and partners. This hybrid approach empowers customers to manage complexity with confidence. My focus is on scaling our go-to-market motion to deliver long-term growth for customers and partners at scale.”
