Certification marks the latest effort by Contentsquare to invest in Digital Trust
Contentsquare, the global leader in digital experience analytics, has joined the small list of privacy-first global organizations to have been awarded ISO 27701 certification.
This new international standard is the privacy extension of ISO 27001 — a standard of best practices for managing information security in compliance with the provisions of legal frameworks for data protection such as CCPA, GDPR, and other country-specific legislation (Australia, Brazil, Canada). As such, it covers the protection of personal data by setting out stringent requirements for the processing of Personal Identifiable Information (PII).

By successfully completing the audit of its internal privacy program required for certification, Contentsquare has demonstrated its commitment to information security accountability and data protection — both as a Data Controller, with its employee data, and as a Data Processor via its Software as a Service (SaaS) platform. The Privacy and Security teams worked hand in hand to achieve this new certification, and will continue to work jointly on delivering Contentsquare’s data and security protection programs, as part of the company’s strategic focus on Digital Trust.
“At Contentsquare we’ve always put privacy first. Digital Trust has become a key pillar of customer experience — a consumer priority that has become even more important in light of digital acceleration. Supporting our clients means putting their customers’ concerns at the heart of our solution. With the ISO 27701 certification, our clients and partners — as well as our entire team — can be assured that their data is safe with Contentsquare,” Jonathan Cherki, CEO and Founder of Contentsquare.

Contentsquare is committed to continuously improving its privacy and security posture, in order to deliver the highest standards of information security and privacy to its customers.
