Ascent Solutions welcomes Jeff Mutschler as SVP of Alliances, leveraging his two decades at Microsoft to accelerate field alignment, partner growth, and Microsoft Security modernization for customers.

Ascent Solutions, a leading cybersecurity consultancy and Microsoft Security partner, announced the appointment of Jeff Mutschler as Senior Vice President of Alliances. Mutschler joins Ascent after a distinguished 20-year career at Microsoft, where he held multiple national leadership roles across consulting, sales, and AI solution strategy.

In his new role, Mutschler will oversee Ascent’s Microsoft alliance strategy, deepen field alignment, and expand the company’s partner ecosystem to accelerate co-sell impact, new logo acquisition, and revenue growth. He will also serve on Ascent’s Executive Leadership Team (ELT), contributing to the company’s broader go-to-market and growth strategy.

Mutschler’s tenure at Microsoft included roles spanning consulting, sales leadership, sales excellence, and national leadership positions within the Health and Life Sciences vertical. Most recently, he helped drive AI adoption across the sector, advising organizations on modernizing operations and leveraging Microsoft’s AI-driven capabilities. His experience guiding large teams and executing complex transformation initiatives will help strengthen and scale Ascent’s alliance and field engagement programs.
