Former CISO at S&P Global and Head of Global Operations at Visa Joins Anomali to Help Customers Modernize & Transform Their Security and IT Operations

Anomali, the leading AI-Powered Security and IT Operations Platform, announced the appointment of George Moser as Chief Growth Officer. Moser brings more than two decades of experience leading security and IT transformations at institutions like S&P Global, Visa and Bank of New York Mellon.

At each organization, Moser elevated security and IT teams to the C-suite and the board of directors and delivered transformations that modernized operations while increasing “EPS” (Earnings per Share) and reducing risk. He consistently focuses on the business challenge, the talent required to solve them, and the most disruptive technology to drive business outcomes.

Moser is passionate about helping organizations tackle today’s most complex data challenges to successfully predict, detect, and respond to cyber threats as well as manage IT observability with disruptive technology that is enabling more business outcomes at a fraction of the historical budget. Driving efficiency is a shared responsibility across the enterprise — not just a CFO mandate.

“As a longtime Cyber Threat Intelligence customer, I have recently seen Anomali’s cloud-native operations platform in action and how it leapfrogged the entire SIEM market by maximizing visibility, context, and real time action. Anomali leverages agentic AI within one unified data lake, delivering unprecedented speed, scale, and performance — at a fraction of the cost of legacy solutions. It is the new standard for modernization and transformation,” said Moser.

“The transition from traditional enterprise SIEMs and similar tools to Anomali is seamless and will very quickly increase visibility up to twenty times, reduce critical incidents by up to 90%, and empower teams to focus on business outcomes — it is simply transformative. Anomali is changing the game of how to manage big data and the respective threat landscape. I believe deeply in the platform’s power and am looking forward to expanding its impact globally,” added Moser.

“George brings an exceptional blend of executive leadership, business outcome focus, technical depth, and customer-first thinking to Anomali,” said Ahmed Rubaie, CEO at Anomali. “He has spent his career protecting and driving some of the most demanding and complex enterprise environments and leading teams that understand what’s at stake. His track record of always seeking the latest and best of breed technology to deliver real results for organizations makes him the ideal leader to help and delight our great Anomali customers.”

As Chief Growth Officer, Moser will report to the CEO and serve as Anomali’s ambassador to existing and prospective customers and partners. He will provide firsthand strategic and execution advice on how to modernize and transform operations. Moser will also contribute to the company’s strategic direction and ongoing commitment to innovation.
