Aeva Achieves ISO 27001 Information Security Management Certification

Independent Body Certification Demonstrates Commitment to Information Security and Automotive Tier-1 Supplier Readiness

Aeva, a leader in next-generation sensing and perception systems, today announced that it has achieved certification to ISO/IEC 27001:2022, the international standard for information security management.

“This important InfoSec certification demonstrates Aeva’s commitment to our customers and partners in automotive and other industries,” said Mina Rezk, Co-Founder and CTO at Aeva. “It is a significant milestone for Tier-1 automotive-qualified supplier readiness as we see growing interest for our unique 4D LiDAR technology.”

ISO 27001 requires companies to develop, implement and maintain a robust compliant Information Security Management System. The certification demonstrates Aeva’s commitment to protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of its information assets for its employees, customers and partners. The assessment was performed by UKAS-accredited Intertek, an independent body.

Aeva’s Information Security Management System covers the design and development of 4D LiDAR sensors and manages 92 controls across four key domains: organizational, people, physical, and technological. Additionally, this builds on Aeva’s existing Quality Management System, which has been certified to the ISO 9001 standard since February 2022.
