Acalvio Completes the AWS Foundational Technical Review and Joins the AWS Partner Network

Acalvio Technologies, a leader in cyber deception technology, announced the successful completion of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Foundational Technical Review (FTR), which enables AWS Partners to identify and remediate risks in their products or solutions. Acalvio has also joined the AWS Partner Network (APN), a global community of AWS Partners that leverage programs, expertise, and resources to build, market, and sell customer offerings. Adhering to AWS FTR guidelines, independent software vendors (ISVs) have access to AWS services and receive prescriptive guidance on how to build, market and sell solutions with AWS, along with training discounts to develop AWS-based skills and capabilities.

By joining the APN and completing the AWS FTR, Acalvio is further building its relationship with AWS,” said Ram Varadarajan, CEO and co-founder of Acalvio. “Acalvio’s cybersecurity deception product, ShadowPlex, now allows customers worldwide to actively defend against cyber attacks with the peace of mind the AWS FTR provides.”

The AWS FTR is led by an AWS Partner Solutions Architect (SA) who reviews AWS Partner products and solutions against a specific set of requirements based around security, reliability and operational excellence as defined by the AWS Well-Architected Framework. AWS FTR certification also provides a simplified experience designed to accelerate the engagement ISVs have with AWS through a variety of curated programs, funding benefits and co-selling support.

As a leader in the cybersecurity defense field, Acalvio’s patented ShadowPlex Cyber Deception solution enables organizations to detect, engage and respond to malicious activity across hybrid cloud deployments, protecting both IT/OT networks. Acalvio leverages multiple data sources and advanced analytics to auto-triage all deception events, which ensures that only high-fidelity detection incidents are highlighted and forwarded to the SIEM, SOAR or IR platforms. Acalvio ShadowPlex can be found in AWS Marketplace.
