“John brings a strong customer-first reputation, incredible execution expertise, and vast industry knowledge to the team,” said Jaspreet Singh, CEO of Druva. “As businesses seek to better prepare against emerging cyber threats, there is a growing demand for Druva’s innovative approach to SaaS-based autonomous data protection. John will play a crucial role in scaling Druva to meet this rising demand.”

Hultman joins Druva from Cohesity, where he led Americas Sales and was responsible for driving growth and predictability across the Americas sales organization. Prior to Cohesity, he spent nearly two decades at Dell EMC overseeing multiple specialty sales teams, and prior to that he held various senior sales leadership roles at Hitachi Data Systems and Dell. Hultman has a proven track record of success in building and scaling hyper-growth teams and has demonstrated the ability to develop a results-oriented, diverse culture.

“Over the past few years, I have consistently heard from businesses and partners that they need SaaS solutions with better data security and management capabilities, and Druva directly addresses those core pain points,” said Hultman. “Not only does Druva have a robust data resiliency platform that offers customers security and peace of mind, but it has established itself as a leader in the industry. I’m thrilled to join the company and am eager to help lead Druva into its next phase of growth.”
