Founded in 2016, SpotCues launched Groupe.io with the mission of more closely connecting frontline workforces — who rarely use and often lack corporate email — to one another and their companies. The solution offers a broad array of tools that streamline employee communications and workflows to keep people engaged and informed. The 50-person team joined UKG in January and is accelerating development while also integrating the solution within UKG DimensionsUKG Pro, and UKG Ready.

“Workforce management is a crucial experience platform for the frontline workforce. This makes employee communications a natural extension of the UKG Life-work Technology approach, as we help our customers build more adaptive, flexible, and resilient workforces,” said Chris Todd, president at UKG. “The addition of the Groupe.io product and its talented development team will help UKG continue to champion great experiences for all people, no matter who they are or where and how they work.”

SpotCues and Groupe.io were incubated by Pramati Software, a global software company that incubates best-of-breed solutions. Groupe.io has received a variety of honors from its users, including being named a Leader by G2 Crowd in fall 2021 and “Best Ease of Use” winner by Capterra, listed as having “Best Functionality and Features” by GetApp, and picked by Clearbox as a 2021 “Employee App of Choice.”

“Groupe.io was created with the vision of providing people with frontline and field-based jobs with a modern digital workplace that clearly translates company goals into engagement and results,” said Praveen Kanyadi, SpotCues co-founder who joined UKG as a vice president of engineering to continue leading the development team. “Our innovative solution, coupled with the tremendous UKG domain expertise, promises to further empower and inspire people by keeping them at the center of strategy, operations, and decisions.”

“We are delighted to see yet another venture from Pramati scale greater heights and get a strong footing in the market,” said Vijay Pullur, co-founder and CEO of Pramati. “Forging a relationship with UKG strengthens our commitment to giving maximum value to customers through product innovation.”
