Hashforest Technology announces that Phala Network has rebranded to phala.com, marking its evolution from a Web3-native project into a global confidential AI infrastructure company.
Phala rebrands to phala.com, bringing trust, privacy, and compliance to the next generation of AI.
Founded in 2019 by Marvin Tong and Hang Yin, Phala launched the world’s largest decentralized Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) network, pioneering privacy-preserving computation for blockchain ecosystems. Since joining the NVIDIA Inception Program in 2025, Phala has extended its expertise to serve the rapidly growing AI market, where enterprises and developers demand systems that are not only powerful, but trustworthy, private, and verifiable.
“We started Phala to rebuild trust in AI workloads,” said Marvin Tong, co-founder of Phala. “With phala.com, we’re extending that mission to AI. The future of intelligent systems won’t just be about scale—it will be about trust, ownership, and compliance. That’s the layer Phala provides.”
A New Trust Layer for AI
Phala positions itself as the trust layer for AI ecosystems, ensuring that data, LLMs, and AI Agents remain private and compliant. Its infrastructure integrates seamlessly with other leading user-owned AI platforms, including: Vana (user-owned data) , OODA/OpenRouter (inference routing) and Near, Sahara, Ritual for open AI model economies.
Together, these partnerships showcase a new AI architecture—where confidential compute safeguards the flow of data and intelligence across platforms.
The Upgrade to phala.com
The shift to phala.com reflects Phala’s ambition to move beyond crypto infrastructure into mainstream enterprise AI adoption. With clients and collaborators spanning both Web3 and Web2, Phala is positioning itself as the trust layer for global AI economies.
