EPIX First U.S. Premium TV Network to Deliver 4K Content to Apple TV with BuyDRM's KeyOS Platform
KeyOS provides DAAS (DRM As A Service) for premium media operators around the globe

BuyDRM announced that EPIX, a premium television network, has partnered with the KeyOS multi-DRM platform to protect their premium video content. EPIX became the first U.S. premium TV network to stream 4K content including Transformers: The Last Knight, The Magnificent Seven and Arrival to their app on Apple TV.

EPIX is a premium television network delivering a lineup of original programming and blockbuster movies, available to authenticated subscribers through cable, satellite, telco and streaming TV providers. Subscribers logged in with Apple TV can watch select Hollywood movies in 4K Ultra HD including Star Trek Beyond, Ben Hur, Arrival, The Magnificent Seven and Transformers: The Last Knight and, coming later this year, films from the James Bond franchise Die Another Day, GoldenEye, Licence To Kill, Tomorrow Never Dies, Goldfinger, From Russia With Love, and The Spy Who Loved Me.

BuyDRM pioneered DRM as a Service (DaaS), providing highly available DRM technologies available through easy to deploy, secure APIs. The KeyOS MultiKey service enables major studios, content licensees and OTT operators to quickly deploy studio-approved DRM within their existing content workflow.

The KeyOS MultiKey Service supports the consumer-focused DRMs including PlayReady, Widevine and FairPlay, powering the widest variety of premium content for consumers. The MultiKey Service is studio-approved for the delivery of SD, HD and UHD/4K premium content to desktops, devices, consoles and streaming appliances.
