RDK is an open-source software solution deployed on more than 200 million devices that standardizes core functions used in video and broadband connected devices. By packaging and open sourcing these functions in a single standard software stack, service providers can develop, deploy, and manage a consistent set of broadband services across SoCs and OEMs for use across their networks and geographic footprints. RDK enables service providers to control their device diagnostics data, business models, and apps to improve the customer experience and drive business results.
Permanence’s contributions reflect a shared commitment to open-source software and accelerating software engineering through AI while improving the work of engineers by automating maintenance work. This work builds on over a year of contributions to the broader open-source community and strengthens the coder’s reputation for delivering trustworthy, high-quality code changes.
Joseph Hackman, CEO, Permanence:
“We are excited to be a part of such a vibrant development community and are thrilled to bring value to RDK software engineers.
