Mavenir the network software provider building the future of networks with cloud-native software that runs on any cloud and transforms the way the world connects  announces the appointment of Jorgen Nilsson to President, Enterprise Connect Solutions. A telecom and IT industry veteran with decades of executive leadership experience at world-renowned blue-chip companies, Jorgen will lead Mavenir’s global strategy to expand its Cloud Enterprise and Business Messaging Services (BMS) and orchestrate the launch of Mavenir Engage, its omni-channel message monetization and customer engagement offering.

Mavenir appoints Jorgen Nilsson as President, Enterprise Connect solutions to lead expansion of Cloud Enterprise and Business Messaging Services.

Nilsson brings more than 30 years of global IT, mobile telecom and operator experience and 20 years of operating and networking in 100 countries. Prior to joining Mavenir, he served as the first managing director for Vodafone Oman, to set up a unique company to run its digital operations with native open cloud architecture and a full digital customer experience.

In addition to several key board chairman and advisory roles guiding and coaching leaders in their transformation of core business to a more profitable and industry-relevant position, Jorgen has held several Chief Executive Officer positions in the Tech and Media industry in the past. He spent more than 10 years at HP/Compaq in various global sales, marketing and operational roles before joining Ericsson, where during his 11-year tenure he served in various capacities, including Executive Vice President of Vodafone’s Global Customer Unit and VP New Sales for North America.
