“Khan is a perfect fit for BitTitan, as he has demonstrated a commitment to identifying solutions to complex challenges”

Klatt’s professional background includes experience in both the education technology and digital media entertainment sectors. For the past two years, Klatt served as the vice president of technology for the Committee for Children, a global nonprofit that promotes the safety, well-being and success of children. While there, he built a learning platform capable of supporting the company’s goal of reaching 100 million children annually by 2028. Before that, Klatt spent four years as the senior director of web application engineering for McGraw-Hill Education, where he led the company’s continuous integration/continuous delivery strategy. He also was responsible for revamping the company’s software development and DevOps processes while delivering a revolutionary modular learning platform.

“Khan is a perfect fit for BitTitan, as he has demonstrated a commitment to identifying solutions to complex challenges,” said Manoj Kalyanaraman, vice president of product and software engineering for BitTitan. “He brings a wealth of experience in strategic planning, management and architecture to this role, and is uniquely skilled in DevOps, security, software engineering and IT operations. Over the past 28 years, Klatt’s career has spanned the growth of the commercial internet. As a computer science and physics major at Western Washington University, he served as the university’s first webmaster. After college, he joined a regional ISP, which brought opportunities to build networks, on-premises data centers, mail services, and web hosting and development services. This culminated in Klatt co-founding a web-consulting firm in the ‘90s. He then shifted to designing scalable social-networking services and casual online social gaming. Most recently, Klatt has focused his expertise on executing ambitious strategic roadmaps while navigating the complexities of data security, privacy and governance concerns of strategic educational technology partners.

“With cloud adoption and digital transformation on the rise, I look forward to serving BitTitan’s partners by delivering secure, scalable products and services that address our clients’ biggest needs and further enable their success in the cloud,” said Klatt. “I’m excited to join an organization like BitTitan that shares my passion for innovation, collaboration, inspirational leadership, meeting high standards, and a culture that encourages continual learning.”
