LOTUS DEMO KIT Availability Announced for Smart Home Vendors

Inhalio announced the immediate availability of a new Smart Home IoT Demo Kit called “Lotus SD4” for companies making the transition from primitive scented candles, and wet, oil-based diffusers to a cleaner, healthier solution with multi-sensory capabilities. The Demo Kit is a ready-to-run demonstration and exploration toolkit that is specifically designed for fast-tracking and licensing to fine fragrance brands, device manufactures, home filtration companies, and essential oil solution providers into the world of multi-sensory digital scent solutions.

The platform enables companies to deliver a scent plus a complete multi-sensory experience based on the user’s requested mood. Users can begin by simply giving a voice command to Alexa, Siri, or Google Home such as “Let’s Party!” or “R******.” Alexa communicates directly with the Inhalio Cloud which sets into motion the coordination of mood-mapped scent experiences with all the other IoT home devices the user has associated with that “mood,” such as: specific LED lighting colors and brightness, a particular genre of music or a playlist, the temperature of the room, or any other associated home IoT device.

Inhalio’s Lotus Demo Kit is based on the company’s Digital Scent 3.0 Platform that provides a massive head-start in digital scent delivery and management, multi-sensory experience integration, with the added value of collecting and analyzing data on an ingredient level to better understand consumer trends and gain business insights. It is estimated that with Inhalio’s Digital Scent 3.0 Platform, businesses can get to market in one-quarter of the time, and at one quarter of the cost as compared to developing their own solution, or piecemealing the necessary hardware, firmware, software, and apps together.
