Hitachi Solutions Chooses the Stellar Cyber Open XDR Platform to bring XDR to the Japanese Market

Stellar Cyber, the innovator of Open XDR – the only intelligent, next-gen security operations platform – today announced its partnership with Hitachi Solutions, Ltd., a leading Japanese IT distributor that provides a full range of IT security products and services to midsize and enterprise-level customers in Japan. Hitachi will resell the Stellar Cyber Open XDR platform and provide first-level support for Japanese customers.

“Stellar Cyber is an XDR market leader because our Open XDR platform allows customers to extend their cybersecurity visibility, detection and response capabilities across the entire enterprise, while retaining their investment in existing security tools in an integrated manner,” said Jim O’Hara, Chief Revenue Officer at Stellar Cyber. “Hitachi Solutions is expert and innovative at supporting critical infrastructure, including information security, for countless enterprise organizations and government agencies. We believe Hitachi Solutions is the ideal partner to help Stellar Cyber bring our powerful Open XDR message and capability to the Japanese market.”

“We are very pleased to collaborate with Hitachi Solutions, which has much experience introducing overseas security products to the Japanese market,” said Makoto Fukumi, Country Manager – Japan at Stellar Cyber. “We are confident that Hitachi Solutions’ excellent support will help Japanese customers improve their security operations with the Stellar Cyber Open XDR platform. We are very honored to partner with Hitachi Solutions in the Japanese market.”

Stellar Cyber’s Open XDR platform significantly reduces security risks by delivering a comprehensive view of the entire network and computing infrastructure that reveals even the most complex attacks. Architecturally, Open XDR unifies and simplifies the security stack to radically improve threat detection and response – typically improving the mean time to detect by 8X and the mean time to respond by 20X. In addition, open XDR protects the enterprise from threats through a single platform versus multiple tools with weak or non-existent connections.

“To counter the increasingly sophisticated cyber attacks in recent years, it is necessary to comprehensively analyze the large amount of logs and alerts and take action promptly according to the situation, but manual response has reached its limit, and it is urgent to pursue automated response. Steller Cyber, a leader in Open XDR, has outstanding correlation analysis and automated response functions, and we are confident that we can solve many challenges faced by our customers and are very pleased to offer them to the Japanese market. We also expect that this product will play an active role in cyber resilience, which will be needed by the world in the future,” said Kenichi Hirama, Executive Officer at Hitachi Solutions.
