The new generative AI capabilities include:

  • Text-to-SQL Experience
Dremio introduces an intuitive and seamless Text-to-SQL experience, allowing users to effortlessly convert natural language queries into SQL directly within the user interface. The Text-to-SQL translation is based on a semantic understanding of metadata and data, resulting in the industry’s most accurate SQL generation. In addition to Text-to-SQL, which is available today, automatic correction of SQL queries is coming soon to further increase SQL development velocity.
  • Autonomous Semantic Layer (Coming Soon)
Dremio‘s upcoming Autonomous Semantic Layer is poised to revolutionize data discovery and documentation. By leveraging generative AI, Dremio automatically learns the intricate details of users’ data, and then produces descriptions of datasets, columns and relationships, eliminating the need for manual cataloging. Additionally, the platform autonomously learns workloads and creates reflections to accelerate data processing, providing users with an AI-powered semantic layer for unparalleled data insights.
  • Vector Lakehouse Capabilities (Coming Soon)
Dremio continues to push the boundaries of data analytics with its upcoming Vector Lakehouse Capabilities.By seamlessly integrating these capabilities into the lakehouseDremio will enable users to store and search vector embeddings. This provides the foundation for users to build machine learning applications such as semantic searchrecommendation systems, and anomaly detection—all within the Dremio platform.
