The Baseline acquisition adds new capabilities to Hyver – CYE’s advanced CRQO platform; Baseline builds context around vulnerabilities to enable dynamic and accurate risk analysis and prioritization.
CYE, the industry leader in cybersecurity optimization announced the company has acquired Baseline, a vulnerability analysis platform by Cyberillium. CYE will incorporate Baseline’s capabilities into its Hyver platform, enabling automated attack route creation and prioritization based on Baseline novel context-aware algorithms.

Currently, security teams manage endless amounts of vulnerability data without proper context, however, analysis shows that only 2% of detected vulnerabilities are exploitable and relevant to their organization.
Baseline is a new approach to vulnerability management. The solution combines and organizes data about vunrabilitiesvulnerabilities by the impact to the business. By analyzing the telemetry from security and IT tools. Baseline builds an attack path map, automatically triages vulnerabilities, determines exploitability, helps identify the root cause of issues, and provides relevant information to build the right threat model.
The solution implements many proprietary graph-based data science algorithms to create an objective, evidence-based approach to prioritizing attack paths and vulnerabilities and identifying highly impactful root causes that can eliminate huge portions of vulnerabilities at once. Baseline’s customers can then utilize the data to create an actionable security roadmap and eliminate risk in a fraction of the average time needed. This unique approach was developed by Arbel Admoni (CTO) and Liam Stein (CEO), who combined their expertise in vulnerability research, graph data science, and red team to create a new method to measuring risk (Admoni is a trained vulnerability researcher and mathematician from 8200, while Stein specialized in cyber defense in the IDF and later led red team engagements for several years).
“We built Baseline after experiencing first-hand how difficult it is to prevent attackers from infiltrating and taking over entire networks in a large enterprise environment,” explains Liam Stein, CEO of Cyberillium. “Our main motivation was to create something that would truly make a dent in global cyber-attack statistics by making such attacks impossibly difficult for the attacker. We see this event with CYE as an opportunity to make a real change by bringing this technology quickly to thousands of companies around the world.”
Cyberillium will continue to focus on developing and providing innovative cybersecurity R&D to its diverse global clientele. Similar to CYE, Cyberillium’s team has deep roots stemming from IDF Intelligence Units. In fact, the idea for the acquisition between CYE and Cyberillium started when Ron Arbel, Cyberillium’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), came up with it while discussing opportunities around the Matzov Entrepreneurs Forum which is spearheaded by Ron. Both are veterans of unit Matzov, an elite unit responsible for information security and encryption standards for security forces and state-owned enterprises.
