Chris Bauserman appointed as CMO, Jaya Jaware as CFO

CommerceIQ, the leading ecommerce decision management platform, announced the expansion of its senior leadership team, with the appointment of Chris Bauserman as Chief Marketing Officer and Jaya Jaware as Chief Financial Officer. This news comes on the heels of the company reporting record-breaking growth in 2021, during which CommerceIQ more than doubled its revenue, customers served, and global headcount.

CommerceIQ also named Jamie Khunhausen as Vice President of People and Culture, and Prabhath Nanisetty as Vice President of Product Management, Data & Insights.

Meet CommerceIQ’s new executive leaders:

Chris Bauserman, Chief Marketing Officer

Chris Bauserman is a veteran marketing leader who brings 20 years of experience driving technology strategy and go-to-market growth initiatives for leading software startups and large enterprises. As the new Chief Marketing Officer, Bauserman is focused on building CommerceIQ as the premier brand for ecommerce leaders and scaling its go-to-market (GTM) engine. Before CommerceIQ, Bauserman led marketing for Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) leader NICE CXone (inContact), where he redefined the market category and helped scale the business from $200M to $1B ARR. He also led marketing for ecommerce and customer experience solutions at Rackspace and held various leadership roles at IBM and SailPoint, prior to its $2B+ IPO. Bauserman holds a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Jaya Jaware, Chief Financial Officer

Jaya Jaware is an accomplished financial executive that has spent two decades leading technology companies and building a world-class G&A function that aligns with corporate strategies. As the Chief Financial Officer at CommerceIQ, Jaware is responsible for aligning people, products, and profits to create value for shareholders. Before joining CommerceIQ, Jaware served as CFO at Appify, and prior to that, she was VP of Finance at Unravel Data and ServiceMax (Acquired by GE Digital). Jaware has also held a number of financial and accounting roles with Stratify, Clearwell Systems, Spire Systems, and Ernst & Young.

Jamie Khunhausen, Vice President of People and Culture

Jamie Khunhausen is an expert people leader whose background spans ecommerce, professional services, technology, and medical device industries. Before joining CommerceIQ, Khunhausen held similar roles at Slalom, Solavei, Dye Management Group, Spacelabs Healthcare, and, most recently, Ideoclick as its Senior Director, People & Culture. Khunhausen’s diverse background includes leading large teams at global, publicly-traded companies, in addition to establishing early HR infrastructure for hyper-growth startups.

Prabhath Nanisetty, Vice President of Product Management, Data & Insights

Prabhath Nanisetty is a pioneer in Marketing Science, Consumer Insights, and Omnichannel Analytics. Before CommerceIQ, Nanisetty served as the Chief Innovation Officer at Numerator, creating products that more than 70% of Fortune 500 CPGs now use as their primary window into omnichannel shopping behavior. Nanisetty has also led Insights for P&G’s $5 Billion Health, Beauty, and Personal Care business at Walmart, developing real-time analytics platforms & consumer models that sharpen demand forecasts and optimize marketing effectiveness. Nanisetty holds both Masters of Chemical Engineering and Engineering & Public Policy degrees from Carnegie Mellon University.
