Cloud Tech Recruitment Titan Frank Recruitment Group Edge Further Into Canadian Market With New Montreal Hub
Award-winning, specialist technology recruitment firm Frank Recruitment Group is expanding its business and opening a new headquarters in Montreal, set to bring 50 new jobs into the area over the next year. The business aims to fill the Canadian digital skills gap whilst hiring great talent who can help them achieve this.

Global leader in cloud tech recruitment, Frank Recruitment Group, has announced they will be opening an office in Montreal, with a plan to hire at least 50 new specialists over the next year to help boost their service reach.

Opening in August of this year, the new office will take the company’s global hub numbers to 23, showing consistent and promising growth for the cloud staffing firm. The Montreal office will initially be a base for the firm’s Anderson Frank and Jefferson Frank brands, specializing in sourcing NetSuite and AWS talent respectively – with both brands already being successful in several locations around the world.

Frank Recruitment Group’s humble beginnings date all the way back to 2006 when the first office in Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK was opened with just three members of staff helping to meet the company’s early goals. Fast forward to today and the business is now the global leader in cloud IT recruitment, with a strong and rapidly growing team of over 3,000 members of staff behind it. The addition of the Montreal location will create up to 15 jobs in its first month, with goals to grow these opportunities further within Canadian territory and keep the firm in front of the competition.

The plans to branch further into Canada were fueled by Montreal’s already-established reputation as a digital metropolis, proving a source of pride for the city’s residents. The tech industry alone drives Montreal’s capital city of Quebec’s short-, medium- and long-term economic development with it accounting for at least 5 per cent of the city’s GDP. The Montreal office will help the cloud recruitment specialist further expand its services within the Americas and help to solve the digital skills gap by sourcing professionals for businesses to help complete their digital transformations and cloud migrations.

“The demand for cloud tech has skyrocketed over the past two years, so we knew that our services would continue to be needed, particularly given it has grown so much that the industry is now faced with an even wider digital skills gap than it was already challenged with”, said Vice President, Owen Barette who is the newly appointed Senior Office Leader for the Montreal hub.

He added: “By bringing our expertise and knowledge to a location where IT professionals are already so highly in demand and where the market is already thriving, we hope to maintain our reputation as a world-leading cloud recruitment specialist and help boost businesses in the local area through providing them with the right talent that can help them use, understand, and diagnose cloud tech issues, as well as being able to carry out migrations for those who are yet to move to the cloud.”

On the expansion, Rowan O’Grady, President of Americas said: “I’m so pleased to finally be able to share our company’s latest achievement with you. Having digital infrastructure in place is crucial to the modern working world, and we’re so proud to be able to help address market-wide issues like the digital skills gap through the work we do. “

“The Canadian tech market is absolutely booming which means there’s plenty of opportunities for us to connect talented IT professionals with businesses that need their help to fulfil both their short- and longer-term goals. We’re deeply passionate about establishing these connections and helping both companies and professionals grow and thriv, so we hope Montreal is as excited as we are about our arrival.”
