Avanan Launches Global Channel Partner Program To Extend Cloud Email And Collaboration Security Worldwide

Avanan, the leader in cloud email and collaboration security, announced the formal launch of the company’s Global Channel Partner Program. The program is led by Michael Lyons, Vice President of Global Channels, who is focused on global growth of the entire channel ecosystem.

“Their channel program shows they understand the needs of the MSP. That has allowed us to free up our time and resources to scale our business. Couldn’t recommend it more highly!”

With an exponential increase in channel growth year-over-year, the Avanan Global Channel Partner Program offers value added resellers, managed service providers and managed security service providers the unique opportunity to extend Avanan’s patented pre-delivery protection, which, unlike other API-based solutions, stops delivery of malicious emails before they reach the end user inboxes. More specifically, Avanan scans emails after default security, but before the inbox, leading to a 99.2% reduction in phishing emails reaching the inbox. Avanan’s technology also secures all enterprise collaboration apps like Microsoft Teams and file-sharing apps like Dropbox.

“With a channel first commitment model, Avanan invested early into a seamless, easy-to-navigate, tier-less channel partner program that gives partners an even playing field opportunity to reach success together,” said Michael Lyons, Vice President of Global Channels, Avanan. “As we continue building out the program globally, we welcome partners looking to engage with a vendor that prides itself on the ability to easily do business.”

In 2020, Avanan announced general availability of its Partner Portal, which makes it incredibly easy for partners to onboard and start selling. Its one-click, zero-touch deployment model offers instant protection for end-users and a rapid and increasing revenue stream for service providers. This solution offers channel partners an easily-deployable product, with short evaluation and POC times. In no time, partners are gaining revenue, with provable ROI.

That has allowed us to free up our time and resources to scale our business. Couldn’t recommend it more highly!”

Avanan has already received industry acknowledgments for the partner program, including a 5-star rating by CRN in its 2021 Partner Program Guide. Additionally, in 2021, Avanan added executive headcount, including Chris Blum, CRN Magazine 2012’s Women of the Channel, as Vice President of Marketing. Avanan has also added additional sales engineering staff, started a Partner Success Program and allocated a budget for marketing and partner activities to continue to dramatically increase channel revenue.
