1Password Launches New Global Partner Program

Bolsters channel-led growth to deliver leading security solutions globally at scale

1Password, a leader in identity security, announced the launch of its new global partner program. The first phase of this multi-year initiative provides partners with access to 1Password’s growing security solutions suite, a simplified partner experience, and a toolkit of sales, marketing, and enablement resources to drive mutual growth. 1Password is launching alongside best-in-class partners, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Arrow Electronics, Insight Enterprises, and SVA, to name a few, and is actively growing its partner ecosystem with additional partners across North America, EMEA, and APAC.

“Over the last year, we’ve experienced significant growth through our partners. Given demand for 1Password and the evolving needs of our partners, we’re excited to deliver a robust program to ensure partners have the resources they need to grow with us”

1Password’s partner program is focused on resellers, distributors, cloud service partners (CSPs), system integrators (SIs), and global system integrators (GSIs) around the globe. The company plans to onboard managed service providers (MSPs) in Q2 and has set ambitious goals to achieve significant channel-led growth by the end of 2024, with further expansion into SMB (small- to mid-sized businesses) and enterprise segments in new geographical regions.

The partner program will introduce several program incentives throughout 2024, including:

  • Training and education programs to empower partners through product knowledge, sales skills training, and technical expertise
  • Partner marketing toolbox to help partners accelerate deal closure through demand generation and sales tools
  • Co-marketing investments to drive mutual growth through collaboration opportunities with 1Password, including co-branded campaigns and collateral
  • Partner compensation model to amplify partner profitability through a multi-incentive rollout, attractive margins, d******* tiers, back-end rebates, and gamified rewards
  • Streamlined sales approach to minimize channel conflicts by ensuring internal sales teams receive full compensation while working collaboratively with partners

“Over the last year, we’ve experienced significant growth through our partners. Given demand for 1Password and the evolving needs of our partners, we’re excited to deliver a robust program to ensure partners have the resources they need to grow with us,” said Julian Teixeira, chief revenue officer at 1Password. “Companies must secure every sign-in while balancing robust security controls and employee productivity. 1Password enables companies to secure their most important data – no matter the device or where or how employees work.”

“Our partner program comes on the heels of significant business momentum – we surpassed $250 million in ARR in the first half of 2023, and 1Password is now the most-used enterprise password manager (EPM),” said Jeff Shiner, CEO of 1Password. “Today’s workplaces have evolved dramatically – hybrid work has become the norm, shadow IT has increased rapidly, and employees are using their personal devices for work and vice versa. In an ever-evolving threat landscape, our channel program enables partners to help customers of all sizes to build a safer, more secure future.”
