Westwood Technology Group, an operating group composed of industry-leading technology services businesses, announced the acquisition of Prototype:IT, one of the largest managed IT service providers in the Dallas Fort Worth area. For over 17 years, Prototype:IT has grown to support the day-to-day technology needs of businesses across North America.

Doug Oppenheimer, CEO of Prototype:IT, Richard Crooks, President, and the rest of the team at Prototype:IT will remain in their current roles. Prototype:IT will continue to operate as a stand-alone entity within the Westwood family of partner companies under its current brand.
