“We’re excited about the growth we’re experiencing, and I look forward to working closely with this great talent to grow our partnerships and support our clients to drive results”

CEO Ben DeBow said the newly-created roles will provide strategic leadership and direction to drive growth and vision throughout the organization.

“Fortified Data has established itself as a next-generation database managed service provider in the data space, and our next phase involves expanding our reach through strategic alignment and long-term planning,” he explains. “These new positions and talent will propel us to build out our offerings and help more organizations optimize their data systems to meet their business objectives while reducing risk.”

In a new position for Fortified Data, Mark Abrahm has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Abrahm will ensure that Fortified Data is appropriately financed to meet the rapidly expanding needs of its client base. Abrahm has more than 30 years of corporate finance and capital markets experience providing companies with capital structure advice, and the structuring, investing, and managing of financial assets. Throughout his career, Abrahm focused on the important role strategic capital plays in building businesses. Before joining Fortified Data, he was a Founding Partner of New Street Investment Partners, a private capital firm, specializing in advising companies and providing seed and growth capital. Prior to that, following 10 years in corporate banking, he was a Founding Partner of Gulf Stream Asset Management, a $3.5-billion asset manager of leveraged credit.

In another strategic appointment, Chad Timms has been named Chief Operating Officer. Timms will develop long-term vision for growing the business while managing strategic operations. He brings to Fortified Data global organizational skills in data management, agile processes, product planning, product strategy, and business development. Formerly, he was Portfolio Director at SITA, a leading specialist in air transportation communications, where he led a global team specializing in product development, data management, and integration platforms. Prior to SITA, Timms was President of Com-Net Software, where he led the day-to-day strategic operations, product, and financial teams for the business unit.

Additionally, Dave DiMeo has joined Fortified Data as Senior Account Executive. A global technology leader, DiMeo brings more than 20 years of expertise in sales, customer success, and marketing automation of B2B and B2C integrated hardware and software products and managed services. In addition to his sales experience in the Americas and EMEA, DiMeo has held leadership positions for HP, Conduent, and Sprint in the US, and LG Mobile Communications Group in Europe.

DeBow says these new positions and experienced hires will help Fortified Data expand its ability to provide superior database management services and maintenance to partners across the globe. “We’re excited about the growth we’re experiencing, and I look forward to working closely with this great talent to grow our partnerships and support our clients to drive results,” he said.
