Building on four years of record growth, Tricentis further expands into public sector market with its leading automated software testing platform

Following growing demand in the space, the company also announced the hire of John Phillips as vice president of public sector. #Tricentis expands public sector presence and partners with #Carahsoft to best serve the needs of government agencies looking to automate their testing capabilities.

Phillips brings over two decades of experience managing enterprise software sales in the public sector market and has worked with large enterprise software companies such as Cisco, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and IBM, in addition to a number of innovative early-stage startups that were either acquired or went IPO. In his role, Phillips leads the public sector go-to-market strategy, focusing on the growing Dev/Sec/Ops space and building upon strategic partner relationships, including SAP.

“The US federal government along with state and local governments are shifting away from waterfall software development to Dev/Sec/Ops models in order to meet software delivery cycles,” said Phillips. “I’m excited to join the Tricentis team and begin assisting public sector agencies to automate their testing requirements in order to digitally transform, innovate, and increase efficiency as they provide improved services for their constituents.”

With an increasing need to deliver new software features, updates, and services, Tricentis’ partnership with Carahsoft, the Master Government Aggregator and distributor of software in the public sector, comes at a perfect time. Through the partnership, Tricentis’ automated software testing solutions are now available on federal contracts, including Carahsoft’s SEWP V and ITES-SW2 vehicles. Carahsoft’s extensive partner ecosystem of systems integrators, national and localized resellers, and alliance partners provides greater availability of Tricentis’ software testing capabilities for agencies, allowing Tricentis to create new solutions specifically designed for public sector needs.
