Octo Completes Integration of B3 Group

Octo has completed integration of capabilities, brand, technology, and operations after acquisition of Herndon-based technology provider B3 Group

Octo, a premier provider of emerging technology and IT modernization services for the Federal Government, announced that it has integrated B3 Group, Inc’s (B3) operations and brand into Octo’s. Acquired in December 2021, B3 provides enterprise-level application modernization leveraging low-code/no-code software and platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Power Platform, Pega, and ServiceNow; large-scale data governance, integration, and analytics; and cloud engineering and operations to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Over the past five months, the company has integrated under the Octo banner to better serve the federal health community and offer combined capabilities and technical expertise to customers in defense, intelligence, and federal civilian agencies and organizations.

Octo CEO Mehul Sanghani said, “With our combined firm’s enhanced capability and talent base, we’ve demonstrated even greater ability to support our VA customers and improve health outcomes for our nation’s veterans. Additionally, Octo now offers enhanced Software-as-a-Service/Platform-as-a-Service capabilities leveraging low-code/no-code technologies to our customers across government. I am extremely pleased with this progress and our demonstrated ability to serve customers without interruption.”

Brad Palmer, B3’s Managing Principal, said, “I had a tremendous sense of optimism about what our companies could do together when we formalized the transaction last December. I could not be happier with how we have united. Together, we serve all three major federal health organizations – the VA, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and the Defense Health Agency (DHA) – enabling digital modernization to support veterans, citizens, and service members.”

“The B3 legacy lives on as a vibrant and integral part of Octo’s culture and business operations,” Sanghani said. “I look forward to our continued success together.”
