The collaboration involves refreshing DP Architects’ high-performance compute cluster (HPC) for building physics and environmental simulations. The goal is to increase computing speed and capacity while improving operational efficiencies. DP Architects is known for its involvement in projects such as Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, Singapore Sports Hub, The Dubai Mall, Lusail Commercial Boulevard in Doha, and Guangzhou Knowledge City re-masterplan in China. The collaboration aims to leverage Dell Technologies’ industry expertise to enhance operational efficiency and better support DP Architects’ workforce through strategic investments in technology.
DP Architects has transformed its high-performance computing (HPC) environment by integrating various Dell Technologies infrastructure solutions. Deploying Dell PowerEdge R7525 servers and ME5024 storage has empowered the company’s architects worldwide. They now experience augmented compute power and expanded capacity, enabling seamless, real-time collaboration and facilitating the use of advanced design software and tools. This enhancement has notably accelerated simulations of architectural designs, boosting productivity across the board.
