Visa announced that it has completed the acquisition of Currencycloud, a global platform that enables banks and fintechs to deliver innovative foreign exchange solutions for payments cross-border.
Through the acquisition Visa and Currencycloud customers and partners will be able to offer greater transparency and flexibility and better control to consumers and businesses in the context of international payments or trading activities in multiple currencies.

This acquisition builds on an existing strategic partnership between Currencycloud and Visa. Currencycloud’s cloud platform already supports more than 500 bank and tech clients with a presence in more than 180 countries. It will continue to provide its services and support its customers and partners in this business sector.
