Meeting all five Trust Service Principles (TSPs), SlashNext is posed to deliver customer confidence and strengthen its position as the industry-leading real-time AI phishing defense service.
SlashNext, the authority on human hacking and a leading provider of real-time anti-phishing and incident response solutions announced that the company has undergone a System and Organization Controls 2 (SOC) audit, resulting in an unqualified report stating SlashNext maintained effective controls over the security, availability, processing, confidentiality, and privacy of its cloud-based anti-phishing and incident response solutions and related systems. Armanino performed the engagement over a three-month assessment period.

An unqualified SOC 2 report opinion from the auditor indicates that users of the report can rely on SlashNext’s system. By meeting these TSPs, existing and potential customers can have assurance about the effectiveness of controls relevant to the security, availability, processing integrity of the system used to process users’ data, or the confidentiality or privacy of the information processed by these systems.
“We are pleased that our SOC 2 audit resulted in an unqualified report to demonstrate we have the critical safety standards in place to mitigate risks and ensure customer confidence,” said SlashNext CEO Patrick Harr. “Compliance with SOC 2 strengthens our industry-leading real-time AI phishing defense service, which is critical when delivering accurate, scalable, and fast phishing defense for our endpoint protection service and to support billions of scans for messaging, hosting, cloud, and takedown services. Achieving SOC 2 Type 2 attestation serves to ensure customer confidence and assist with compliance within their own organization.”

The SOC 2 certification is performed under the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) SSAE No. 18, Service Organizations AT-C 105 and 205, and the AICPA SOC 2 Audit Guide. The SOC 2 report is an internal control report on the services provided by a service organization to its customers. It provides valuable information that existing and potential customers of the service organization need to assess and address the risks associated with an outsourced service.
