โIโve had the opportunity to build a successful career that intersects both the global enterprise software and advertising industries. Subsequently, I think that gives me a unique lens through which to view and shape the business moving forwardโ
โAs companies grow, so does product and technical complexity. At both Yahoo! And Microsoft, David successfully led major platform evolutions, while accelerating the rate of innovation and expertly navigating these complexities,โ said Scott Howe, LiveRamp CEO. โHe brings a wealth of experience building and scaling world-class platforms, and developing exceptional teams – something I can personally attest to, given our shared lineage at Microsoft. I am confident he will be the ultimate advocate and champion, not only for our global customers, but for our people as well, who are the very heart of LiveRampโs success and market leadership.โ
Pann will oversee product design, innovation, and long-term strategy for LiveRampโs portfolio of products, in addition to spearheading platform-level differentiation. He will play a critical role in LiveRampโs global expansion and exploration into new verticals beyond advertising and marketing.

He has held several senior roles at NetIQ Corporation, including a stint as the vice president and general manager of the VoIP business unit, where he was responsible for the divisionโs products, marketing, and strategic relationships.
โIโve had the opportunity to build a successful career that intersects both the global enterprise software and advertising industries. Subsequently, I think that gives me a unique lens through which to view and shape the business moving forward,โ said Pann. โAs LiveRamp continues to invest in user experience, real-time capabilities, and rapid extension of use cases and APIs, I believe weโre in a position to deliver the tools, technology and secure infrastructure our customers need to better harness the power of data. I look forward to helping LiveRamp achieve this, while simultaneously enabling our customers to realize greater business results and outcomes.โ
LiveRamp has also elevated Mohsin Hussain. Hussain, who has been serving as LiveRampโs chief technology officer (CTO) for the past year, will now report directly to CEO, Scott Howe. During his tenure as CTO, Hussain has worked tirelessly to fortify LiveRampโs global engineering team, contributing critical oversight to modernize, modularize, and integrate cutting-edge technology into LiveRampโs solutions. He was instrumental in several key acquisitions – DataFleets and Diablo.ai – which collectively accelerated LiveRampโs roadmap for privacy-preserving technology, distributed data collaboration, and first-party identity management. He also helped oversee the development and introduction of LiveRampโs developer portal: a centralized location for developers to access technical resources and tools to transform customer experiences with LiveRamp APIs.

His career has spanned engineering leadership roles across Netscape, AOL, Siebel, and SunPower, with 18 collective patents granted throughout his tenure. Before LiveRamp, he spent four years as senior vice president leading the US engineering organization at Criteo where he managed several successful acquisitions, including Criteoโs biggest acquisition, Hooklogic.
Like Pann, Hussain is passionate about people development, cultivating empowerment-based engineering culture, building agile teams for fast learning and iterating, and promoting the organizationโs Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (DIB) program.
Scott Howe added, โBoth David and Mohsin possess tremendous technical acumen. But perhaps even more importantly, they also have an unparalleled reputation for nurturing top-performing teams, mentoring talent, and developing leaders. Iโm confident these strategic additions to our leadership team will complement our existing organization and culture seamlessly.โ
