EdgeNext Partners with Jet-Stream to Offer Integration with SaaS-based Multi-CDN

EdgeNext, a top edge cloud service provider specializing in APAC, China, MEA, and global cloud delivery, is joining forces with Jet-Stream, an industry-leading broadcast-grade streaming platform on a global scale that provides premium content delivery services to its clients empowered by EdgeNext’s extensive content delivery network with more than 1300 PoPs worldwide. This partnership will ensure that joint customers enjoy high-performance solutions powered by EdgeNext and the Jet-Stream management platform’s cost-effective and intelligent streaming workflow. The alliance will significantly enhance the capability and performance of Jet-Stream throughout China and the APAC region, boosting uptime and reducing latency to ensure a seamless and smooth streaming experience for the target audiences.

“Jet-Stream has been at the forefront of live streaming since the early days of the Internet. We’re excited to partner with the Jet-Stream team to enhance their global reach with the EdgeNext network and services while also empowering the EdgeNext ecosystem through this partnership and providing access to Jet-Stream’s enhanced streaming technologies and network to EdgeNext customers,” said Joshua Johnson, the Sr. Director of Solution Architects at EdgeNext.

Joshua Peper, Jet-Stream’s CTO: “We are delighted to add EdgeNext to our portfolio of CDN services. EdgeNext integration brings clear advantages to our customers, including domestic China mainland delivery support for live streams and on-demand video.

“We focus on customers who need to go beyond the performance, features, and geographies of standard video platforms, but don’t have the focus, resources, or budget to build their own streaming stack. Integrating and managing multiple CDNs is a challenge, even for the largest broadcasters. Our service gives our customers full control over distribution, and being able to deliver deep into China is another advantage that we can bring our customers, thanks to the EdgeNext partnership.”
