Citrix Introduces New Incentives to Ease Customer Migration to Citrix Platform

Citrix, a business unit of Cloud Software Group, announced the launch of new incentive programs designed for customers and partners seeking to transition their existing non-Citrix use cases to the newly introduced Citrix platform. These offerings encompass discounts and enhanced usage rights, serving as incentives for both new and existing customers. The strategic design of these incentives aims to facilitate a seamless migration of workloads from current vendors, such as VMWare or F5, to environments optimally supported by the capabilities of the Citrix platform.

“Customers are seeking alternatives to simplify their cloud migration and maximize their investments. Through our newly announced platform and incentives, we are prioritizing customer-focused innovation and simplifying solutions to address their challenges, all while reducing the total cost of ownership for both customers and partners”

“By integrating the full suite of capabilities of Citrix and NetScaler, we are empowering customers with a cutting-edge solution that not only streamlines their application delivery infrastructure but also alleviates the challenges associated with managing a multi-vendor environment,” said Hector Lima, executive vice president of field and channel sales, Citrix, a business unit of Cloud Software Group. “These new incentives eliminate any barriers and offer a simplified pathway for new and existing customers to migrate their infrastructure and benefit from the enhanced value and performance of the Citrix platform.”

For VMware customers seeking to make a switch to Citrix and capitalize on the added value of the Citrix platform, Citrix offers a one-year rebate of service when they migrate their infrastructure to Citrix and commit to a three-year agreement with an annual expenditure exceeding $50,000. Current Citrix customers with additional use cases involving VMware will receive unlimited capacity of the new Citrix Universal Hybrid Multi-Cloud subscription upon committing to a 50% expansion of their current investment with Citrix. Additionally, Citrix enterprise customers can enjoy a 10% credit on their next renewal by increasing their VDI and DaaS usage by 25% or more.

As part of the newly formed Citrix platform, enterprises now enjoy full access to the complete suite of both Citrix and NetScaler capabilities through either the Citrix Universal Hybrid Multi-Cloud subscription or Citrix Platform License. Organizations that currently run their applications and desktop virtualization with Citrix, but operate their enterprise application delivery (ADC) requirements through F5, can now benefit from greater value, power, and security by migrating to NetScaler. To assist with costly migration expenses, Citrix will offer partners reimbursement for certain pre-approved service delivery activities tied to customer migrations, including converting F5 iRules to NetScaler configuration files.

“Customers are seeking alternatives to simplify their cloud migration and maximize their investments. Through our newly announced platform and incentives, we are prioritizing customer-focused innovation and simplifying solutions to address their challenges, all while reducing the total cost of ownership for both customers and partners,” stated Lima.
