CircleCI Achieves AWS Graviton Ready Designation
Thousands of developers see significant decreases in cost and increases in speed through the combined power of CircleCI and AWS

CircleCI, the leading continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) platform, announced that it has achieved the AWS Graviton Ready designation, part of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Service Ready Program. This designation recognizes that CircleCI has demonstrated successful integration with AWS Graviton2.

“Our continued growth in the infrastructure space enables us to partner with a broad range of innovative solution providers to deliver the best experience for customers looking to adopt Arm-based platforms”

“CircleCI is proud to achieve AWS Graviton Ready status,” said Tom Trahan, Vice President, Business Development, CircleCI. “Our team is dedicated to helping companies achieve their technology goals by leveraging the agility, breadth of services, and pace of innovation that AWS provides at a fraction of the cost.”

To support the seamless integration and deployment of these solutions, AWS established the AWS Service Ready Program to help customers identify solutions integrated with AWS services to spend less time evaluating new tools, and more time scaling their use of solutions that are integrated with AWS Services.

Achieving the AWS Graviton Ready designation differentiates CircleCI as one of the few services to offer fully cloud-based Arm compute for CI/CD, allowing customers to build and test their applications for Arm without managing their own machines.

“Our continued growth in the infrastructure space enables us to partner with a broad range of innovative solution providers to deliver the best experience for customers looking to adopt Arm-based platforms,” said Eddie Ramirez, Senior Director of Marketing, Infrastructure Line of Business at Arm. “CircleCI’s powerful CI/CD cloud offering will provide users the level of confidence they need to develop and test applications on the AWS Graviton2 environment.”

Customers who want to deploy CircleCI jobs on their own infrastructure can do so with self-hosted runners based on AWS Graviton2. This integration is especially useful for teams who are looking to optimize computational capacity and performance while significantly decreasing costs.

CircleCI helps thousands of AWS developers automate their deployment pipeline safely, confidently, and at scale, and is one of the most powerful CI/CD tools available in the AWS Marketplace.

“When you have the opportunity to increase performance and reduce costs by 50%, selecting Graviton2 and CircleCI is less of a big bet, and more of a ‘why not?’,” said Honeycomb’s Principal Developer Advocate, Liz Fong-Jones, of the company’s decision to use these two solutions. Ben Hartshorne, Manager of Platform Engineering, added, “It’s cheaper, it’s faster, and everything else just works.”

“Anything that significantly improves performance and lowers cost is going to appeal to organizations building high performance software delivery teams and infrastructure,” said James Governor, analyst and cofounder, RedMonk. “AWS Graviton2 does both, and Service Ready status should give customers confidence they can use the specialized processors seamlessly with CircleCI.”
