Auvik Strengthens Leadership Amidst Accelerated Growth as Demand for Enterprise Network Management and Monitoring Surges

Auvik, an award-winning provider of cloud-based network management software, announced four new appointments to the executive leadership team amidst an accelerated growth phase for the company.

Auvik achieved 44% revenue growth and a 41% increase in employee headcount in the second half of 2022. As the company evolves to meet current and future customer demands on a global scale, Auvik has appointed Bob Feller as Chief Financial Officer, Courtney Harrison as Chief Human Resources Officer, and Siva Ananmalay as Chief Development Officer. Auvik’s co-founder, Alex Hoff, has also taken a new role as Chief Strategy Officer to focus on shaping the organization’s long-term approach to maintaining this pace of rapid growth.

This aggressive growth stage follows Auvik’s three acquisitions in 2022:

  • Saaslio, a leading SaaS discovery solution enabling companies to securely manage applications;
  • Boardgent, an intuitive platform for managing and protecting desktops and laptops remotely;
  • MetaGeek, an industry-leading provider of Wi-Fi tools that help network professionals more efficiently deploy and maintain wireless networks.

These integrations enable Auvik to continue to expand its capabilities and improve the end-user experience, providing a unique toolset that gives IT professionals more control, visibility, and troubleshooting capabilities over the new last mile of the office network.

“This expansion of Auvik’s leadership team is timed to meet the moment as we extend our product portfolio and add the talent needed to support this stage of growth,” said Douglas Murray, CEO, Auvik. “We now have a leadership team in place to ensure Auvik is positioned to integrate our newest products and deliver on our promise to provide customers with the tools necessary to address today’s modern network challenges.”

Addressing the Evolving Needs of Modern Digital Infrastructure

As businesses and organizations continue to develop their workforce around IT-based infrastructure, the need for network visibility and security multiplies. Auvik’s 2023 Network IT Management Report – an annual survey of 4,500 IT professionals across North America – revealed that while 86% of IT professionals support remote workers, only half monitor critical components of today’s enterprise network (including SaaS and Cloud-based applications) or manage Wi-Fi. Additionally, with 45% of this year’s respondents reporting that they are measured on the satisfaction of their end user or customer, the practicality and ease-of-use of this infrastructure is absolutely critical. Although many have yet to invest in a solution, 30% of survey respondents shared that they are planning to invest in Wi-Fi management and/or SaaS and Cloud monitoring solutions within the next 12 months, which emphasizes the continued projected growth in this area of software. IT teams recognize their visibility gaps as well as the unnecessarily huge amount of time and effort involved in manually managing modern networks – time that could be better spent on strategic plans and operations.

“Precise measurement, monitoring, and management of the digital infrastructure is of paramount concern in this fast-moving, hyperconnected, and ever-threatening digital era,” said Mark Leary, research director, Network Analytics, IDC.

New Leadership Roles Prepare Auvik for Next Stage of Growth

Alex Hoff, Auvik’s co-founder, has assumed a new role as Chief Strategy Officer to focus on the organization’s long-term strategic plans and continued technology innovation. In this role he will continue to drive the vision for a unified IT operations platform and focus on the expanding technology associated with the evolution from a single-product to a multi-product company.

Paired with Hoff’s new CSO role, the addition of Feller, Harrison, and Ananmalay to the C-suite team will provide the leadership and perspective necessary to scale Auvik.

Bob Feller brings over three decades of strategic leadership experience to Auvik, with posts at publicly listed, private equity and venture capital funded companies, as well as an NBA team and a top CPA firm. As Chief Financial Officer, Bob will oversee and manage the continued growth of the company through strategic financial planning and legal guidance. Feller previously directed many noteworthy projects including a successful IPO at Salesforce.com, a private equity transaction at WorkForce Software, and a secondary public offering at Scientific Learning.

Courtney Harrison applies her passion for culture to her role as Auvik’s Chief Human Resources Officer, where she will ensure all employees have a seat at the table in order to foster business success and cultural evolution. She has worked at organizations in every stage, ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500s including American Express, GlaxoSmithKline, Nike, Juniper Networks, and nonprofits like the US Olympic Committee.

Siva Ananmalay will lead product delivery in his new position as Auvik’s Chief Development Officer. With experience leading engineering and product teams for a number of well-known networking, security and mobile companies including Extreme, Cisco, Juniper Networks, and Ericsson, Siva will apply his knowledge to develop and deliver Auvik’s technology to provide a seamless experience for users.
