Tray.io Appoints Industry Veteran Susan Lally As SVP Of Engineering

Former GitHub, McGraw Hill, and CloudBees Executive to Drive Continued Engineering Innovation for Tray.io’s Low-code Automation and Integration Solutions

Tray.io, the leader in low-code general workflow automation, announced that Susan Lally has joined as Senior Vice President of Engineering. Lally brings more than 20 years of expertise leading engineering and product organizations for some of the most recognizable technology brands in the world. In her newly appointed role, Lally will lead the Tray.io engineering team and focus her efforts on continued enhancement of Tray.io’s core product lines – the Tray Platform and Tray Embedded, which includes Tray Embedded Native and Tray Embedded Integration Manager. Lally will also concentrate on expanding Tray.io’s world-class engineering organization across multiple technical teams.

“Tray.io has a remarkable opportunity to enable entire organizations, including IT and DevOps teams, to be more efficient and scale more effectively,” said Lally. “By dramatically streamlining the frequently resource-intensive work of integrations and automation, we’re giving teams all over the world the power to do more, faster.”

Prior to joining Tray.io, Lally led engineering and product teams at CloudBees, McGraw Hill, GitHub, and Adobe, among others. During her time at CloudBees, Lally oversaw the company’s product organization where she led the vision and delivery across its enterprise DevOps portfolio. While serving as McGraw Hill’s VP of Engineering and Product, she oversaw the company’s $300M LearnSmart suite of adaptive learning products, which is used by more than three million students. At GitHub, she spearheaded the open-source development leader’s efforts to drive platform growth on the SaaS side and to bring GitHub Enterprise to market while transforming the internal engineering organization by introducing Agile development methodology and building out the SRE (site reliability engineering) and product management functions.
